You need someone you can trust. I've taken more than 40 courses and workshops from many of the leaders in the field. I've mentored one-on-one with nationally recognized wedding photographers and actively mentor with a two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist. My life experiences of endurance sports and as the spouse of a senior leader in the military (now retired) mean I'm accustomed to long, hard days, and I'm just as comfortable around DC's power couples as I am in a room full of young fighter pilots. Whatever the day throws at us, and regardless of how it changes, I can adapt.

The wedding day is first and foremost about the couple and their loved ones but as your second shooter, the day is also all about your business. It is never lost on me that I am representing a business you've put your heart and soul into, and i am there for you. whether you need water or shots of each of the guests, i'm on it. support is what I do best, and i take pleasure in making your day, and your clients' day, easier and more delightful. a consummate team player and focused on the goal of a happy couple, i delight in capturing the details, emotions, and candid shots that help tell their story of a day that always goes by too quickly.

"I had the pleasure of working with Annemarie during one of my October weddings. It was her first wedding but she’s done so much training and education that you couldn’t really tell. I had her pose my 2nd bride for me while I took photos of the 1st bride. She did excellent and even got her watch detail and putting on the jacket. Such a lifesaver. There was also a first look and she had the perfect angle that helped tell both sides of the story. She captured many candid moments that looked amazing in the final gallery I delivered. I worked with a couple of other seconds and honestly, Annemarie was the best of everyone I worked with. She respected me as a lead and knew how to get all the angles I wanted.
